Motiv Entertainment is essentially me, I'm Vito, an experienced private event and club DJ and MC based in Ĺtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand.
I recognise that the celebrations we are hired for, are really personal events and they require someone who can apply a personal approach to really bring out the vibe and energy you want for your special occasion. DJ's/ MC's are privileged enough to be able to witness some outstanding events and milestones - and as such the way we provide our services should be personal, professional and match your expectations and vision.

About me
Being a DJ is the longest "job" I have ever had, if you can call it a job.
I've grown up around music. The son of a Samoan minister in Wellington, I was exposed to the keyboard, guitar and choirs from a young age.
Becoming a DJ in my teens, I've been lucky enough to play clubs around New Zealand and Australia. In Christchurch, I've been part of the local nightclub scene for a few years as a member of the ClubKingz DJ's and as resident DJ for venues like Cocopelli and One Bar at the Palms, The {Print Room (Ashburton), Richey's and the previously popular Baretta.
Aside from having been a DJ for more than half of my life, I also have a background in radio broadcasting, project management and communications. All seemingly a perfect mix of skills and experience to make for a great DJ and MC service - and it kinda does.
The one key thing about me is that I care about every event I am given the task of performing for - and as such, I am pretty meticulous about getting the details right so that I do an amazing job. This however means that I can only commit to a certain number of direct bookings per annum. When I am at my personal capacity - I refer all other bookings to DJ4You and you can book me through them.
More than Music
Ensuring you get the vibe you want and deserve is a lot more than just playing music.
I've also put a lot of thought and effort into not just how it all sounds, but how everything looks as well - and we've created a number of pretty unique appearance options that wont look out of place with the most elegant of events - and if you need me to, I'll rock a suit and tie as well.
Everything from the lighting, to the speakers, to the booth, have all been considered as part of a set-up that will not look out of place at your wedding or event.
