Making Music Memorable
While I'm the the main person behind Motiv Entertainment (Vito), demand means I'm often booked out most Summer seasons and unavailable as a Christchurch, Canterbury DJ during that time, so Nancy works alongside me to deliver an equal level of service to make your music memorable.
Both Vito and Nancy are musicians by background with significant years playing in bands - who each work for all kinds of events including Christchurch, Canterbury DJs.
Nancy also offers Karaoke services, which would be a fairly unique way to celebrate your wedding if you wanted.
Rest assured though, regardless of which of us you have, you'll get access to the same commitment to creating epic dance-floors for your celebration.
Learning to play instruments from a young age (keyboard, guitar, drums and trumpet), Vito always had music feature in his life, so it was no surprise that he became a DJ from a young age - and went on to work in radio as an announcer.
DJing nightclubs and bars across New Zealand and Australia, Vito was a resident DJ with a bunch of clubs in Christchurch like Richey's, Cotton Club and Baretta and can currently be found playing on the Terrace from time to time.
Weddings and Corporate events is where he's really excelled, taking a caring and personal approach to working with clients to deliver their vibe using every DJ skill to compliment that attention to detail.
Vito is well known for being one of the most versatile open-format DJ's in Canterbury, which is a fancy way of saying, he can play almost anything.
Like Vito, Nancy is a musician by background who has been around the entertainment scene for a number of years.
Nancy's singing background gives her a solid foundation of music knowledge, but also an understanding of performing for a crowd - making her incredibly popular at every event she performs at.
Nancy gives outstanding performances when she can spend time getting to know you and your music tastes. A people person with a bubbly personality, she'll inject the energy and positivity into your planning process to get the best out of your event and dance floor.
More recently Nancy was the star of the show for Canterbury's largest silent disco, playing to over 1000 people over the course of the night and having them belt out Whitney Houston to Nancy's dedicated green channel.
